Interaction with non-utilitarians

A part of promoting Felicifia is getting links from other websites to us. And a good way of doing this is by being at other websites. What I think would be a good way to get people to take notice of Felicifia would be to present to other websites and get people to take interest in who we are and what we have to say.

One way to do so would be to post on debategrpahs. This is budding service is a visual representation of a graph that anyone can edit. If that makes sense.

Another would be to arrange a discussion between one of us and a conservative blogger at a neutral location. Written or spoken. Apparently conservatives think utilitarianism to be the great evil of the world.

Another way would be to offer ourselves to ethics podcasts as representatives of utilitarianism. I think we could contribute something interesting whether this is ethics applied or not applied and whether this is adversarial or not adversarial.

Anyway, I don't think these are ideas for Jan-Feb, but it just struck me today that these things could be a lot of fun some time in the future.

That hardly singles conservatives out. They hate us because we're all lefties, lefties hate us because we're tories, and libertarians hate us because whatever we are, we're obviously not libertarian.

Good ideas in theory. I don't know about you, but I speak very clumsily. Ideally we'd want some of the better qualified utils (who post much less frequently - thinking of people like Toby and Pablo) to represent us, (if only because they can more convincingly claim to be representative).
