Transcendence - aka Singularity The Movie

Soo... apparently there's going to be a movie coming out April 17th that's about the Singularity.





I can't tell if this is going to be brilliant or yet another Hollywood example of the "A.I. going berserk" meme.

Judging by the second trailer I'm guessing option B.

I heard that FHI got an advance copy of the script and they said it was pretty good for portraying Singularity matters.

It incorporates a lot of interesting AI/UFAI-type ideas. As a movie though, it's not good. Great premise, poor execution plot-wise.
