Hello,
I discovered Utilitarianism as an undergraduate and gravitated towards it. I'm here to learn and possibly contribute some ideas. Thanks for having me here.

Hi Philosopher King. Pleasure to have you hear.
youv'e said you learnt about utilitarianism as an undergraduate. Were you studying philosophy in a Bachelor of arts or as a hobby?

To let us know about you and so we can mutually learn about utilitarianism, let us know what kind of ethical system you believe in. Are you completely settled on utilitarianism or are you still making up your mind? Do you want to increase conscious wellbeing or all preferences? Whose ideas have attracted you to utilitarianism?

also, where are you from?

I studied liberal arts in college and took quite a few courses in philosophy. I hope to go to graduate school to study philosophy, particularly ethics. To be honest, I am still learning about the various branches of Utilitarianism. So, it seems a little early to say which I subscribe to. Right now, I live in Rhode Island. There are a lot of brilliant minds on this forum and I hope to learn a little from them.
