Styles Online

Postby RyanCarey on 2008-11-03T12:23:00

James Evans has just put our shortlist of styles online. The selection of a range of styles for the Felicifia Forum is a continual, ongoing process. Please try out the various styles and let us know what you think so I can make appropriate adjustments. Keep in mind that the default banners (pictures at the top) are only a temporary measure. The idea is that in the future, we may create a permanent Felicifia banner.

You can change the style with which you view Felicifia by clicking "User Control Panel", "Board Preferences", then using the drop-down menu beside "My board style:"

Thanks,
Ryan.

Reluctantly I think we should rule out Glacier as the default style. As much as I love it, using it on my home PC (whose primary components are only a few months old) caused noticable lag. We don't want a forum that's unusuable before you reset it on older machines.

Yes, Glacier lags on the oldest of the 3 PC's in my family's house too. I think you're right that it can't become default. It is still a great style to have on the site, though.
For me, Nexus remains a personal favourite.
OA purple is cool, but I think its colour-scheme disqualifies it from becoming default.
Zeus is cool, though very grey.
Blue Moon is not bad.
eTech doesn't do a whole lot for me.
