Felicifia Wiki

Hi all, I was thinking of opening a Felicifia Wiki using Wikipedia's free software, known as MediaWiki.

It's something that just logically emerges from the fact that I have spare time at the moment, and that I'd rather put my thoughts somewhere permanent rather than having to make them up again and again. What the wiki would be about would be increasing happiness and reducing suffering, and all manner of issues related to that. It seems like a logical progression for Felicifia because it would allow us to show the world that utilitarianism can coherently and reasonably guide our actions. I think it could summarise a lot of what we've said of Felicifia, and cause the fantastic discussions that have taken place here to be immortalised in a sense. What is first added to the wiki might be numerous links to sources of utilitarian writings and felicifia forum posts. These links could then be logically arranged at the same time as new content is written to outline the areas of utilitarian thought.

So now is where I turn the thread over to /your/ thoughts. Can a Felicifia Wiki be made to work? Why / Why not?

Didn't we already discuss this on felicifia.com? My vote was to have a wiki and a forum. There's things we could put there, and it costs nothing, right?

I like the idea in principle. I'm not sure how much of a reference resource something that comprises mainly linguistic argument can be, and more practically I'm not sure which of us has time to contribute to it, but it doesn't seem like it costs much to try, and could potentially prove me spectacularly wrong...
