Giving What We Can - local chapters

Giving What We Can is pretty awesome and there are a lot of utilitarians behind it.

We've got quite a few chapters starting up/trying to get started. PM me if you're interested in getting involved with one near you!

Would be excellent to get something going in NYC; there will surely be some people in NYU who would be willing to help out a bit.

If anyone wants to start with New York, I'll happily commute in to help out (I'm currently the president of the Rutgers chapter).

Yay Giving What We Can :D

ps - starting a chapter is relatively straightforward; we have experience, support documents, and can help with most steps of the way (including banner, poster & website design). ;)

Good suggestion, Boris, and thanks for your suggestion to help out!

Will Crouch (GWWC's Managing Director) will be at NYU for a few months from Dec/Jan, so it would be a good time to get the ball rolling with an NYU chapter!

Contact Matt Wage at america@givingwhatwecan.org if you'd be interested in helping set this up. It's a great way to meet utilitarians :D And I know a utilitarian there who'd very probably help out with this.
