There hasn't been enough for this to be a proper online discussion forum. We need more enmity and angst. Discuss.

I was thinking of creating a politics forum...
"These were my only good shoes."
"You ought to have put on an old pair, if you wished to go a-diving," said Professor Graham, who had not studied moral philosophy in vain.

You mean, people on a utilitarian forum are too happy?

Lol :)

Seriously - it's abnormal. Godwin's Law is failing drastically, and there's no infighting. We can't call ourselves a proper forum until someone hates someone else for preferring preference util for hedonism and every discussion becomes a dispute between the two of them over some tangential point.

Bloody preference Nazi...

It's probably got a lot to do with the size of the forum. At the moment, we're a handful of relatively like-minded people chatting about topics with little immediate application. Get a bigger group, and more political discussions going, and things will inevitably get more heated. But still, hopefully less so than on most other forums...

Well I would never hate anyone for being a happiness over preference utilitarian but I thought Rob and I made a pretty good stab at disputing "tangential" points. :D  :)

This is undoubtedly the stupidest comment in this forum to date.
