Thank you. I was aware of Carl's blog, but it's likely that others aren't. His post on hedonium and dolorium is, in my opinion, the most important piece of writing on future issues since Bostrom's landmark "astronomical waste" paper.

Weirdly, I don't agree with his thesis (arguably the most important part of the book) that there is an asymmetry in how we should regard pain and pleasure with regard to bringing beings into existence.
