Does anyone have any answers to;

How can we go about evaluating this?

Will this produce useful results? / Or produce anything we havn't already considered? Will people disagree based on ethical differences and/or differences in opinions on the possibilities of certain events?

Does this seem like a good thing to do?

Who should do this? (If it seems like a promising avenue).
